Join Events in Mueller and Mueller Residential Group for a hands-on volunteer event to kick off National Volunteer Week (April 19–25). We’re inviting neighbors to come together and help assemble 100 care kits for individuals accessing services through Caritas of Austin.
Stop by, build a kit or two, and stay to connect with neighbors over light refreshments.

What We’re Assembling

We’ll be assembling two types of care kits that will be distributed by Caritas of Austin to individuals experiencing homelessness in Austin.

Filled with ready-to-go essentials like granola bars, protein bars, dried fruit, nuts, crackers, and water.

Packed with everyday essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, deodorant, and toilet paper.
How it Works
Check in when you arrive
Visit one of the assembly stations
Follow the instructions to build a kit
Add your completed kit to our collection
Grab a refreshment and mingle for as long as you’d like
Whether you can stay for ten minutes or the full event, every kit we assemble together will makes a difference.
Everyone can participate
You can sponsor a kit whether or not you’re able to attend.
These contributions help offset supply costs for the kits and are not tax-deductible.
